Our latest report looks at how employers can unlock the potential of neurodiversity through employee benefits.
We live in an employment world where unique skills and ways of thinking are celebrated.
With a fifth (22%) of businesses admitting that they struggle to cater to the needs of neurodiverse employees, is enough being done by employers and HR decision makers alike to understand what support neurodiverse employees require in the workplace?
To understand the needs of neurodiverse employees and the support employers are currently offering in the workplace, Zest has commissioned a survey of 500 HR decision makers and 2,000UK employees – including a significant sample of neurodivergent employees – to gain useful insights into what people want and how businesses are responding to their needs.
Key findings include:
- 38% of businesses report seeing an increase in the number of neurodiverse employees during the past 12 months.
- 31% of HR leaders across the UK believe that neurodiverse employees have made their business more profitable.
- 74% of neurodiverse employees state they need a specific benefit offering towards their needs.
